Golfers are spoilt for choice as there are many courses within a short drive from the hotel, including world famous course such as Royal Troon and Turnberry
We regret that all deposits are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.
Check in time is from 2pm – the hotel is unable to guarantee an earlier check in time.
Check out time is 11am, late check out will result in additional charges.
If you require to check out later than the designated time this may be arranged by contacting Reception the day prior to extending your stay. The charges for this serve are as follows:
Keep your room until 3pm £25
Keep your room until 6pm £50
In some cases it may not be possible to offer this service.
Credit/Debit cards are taken as confirmation and you may be asked to show your card as authorisation on check in. Guests presenting credit/debit cards are required to settle their account upon departure. We reserve the right to take payment from this card in the event of non-payment of the account or for any loss or damages to the hotel. If paying by cash or cheque we require full payment of the balance of the account upon check in.
The hotel reserves the right to charge full room tariff should we not be able to re sell the room due to any of the following:
Groups Bookings
Where one person books a multiple of rooms with a deposit it is the responsibility of that person to pay all charges resulting from damages, unpaid room accounts, cancellation or a guests non-arrival.
The person who is responsible for the group is responsible for ensuring that everyone in their party is aware of the terms and conditions.
The person responsible for the group must send an allocation list prior to the group arrival. This maybe forwarded to the hotel either by letter, e-mail or fax 2 days prior to arrival.
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations must be received in writing, by e-mail, fax or letter. If we do not receive confirmation of a cancellation within 7 days of canceling the following charges will apply
48 hours notice or more before arrival – loss of deposit
less than 48 hours before arrival – payment in full of the first nights stay
Group Bookings
14 days prior to arrival – Loss of deposit
Less than 14 days prior to arrival – payment in full for the first nights stay
No refunds will be offered for any reduction in the number of nights stay by the customer within 48 hours of arrival.
The hotel may cancel the reservation if it has to close due to circumstances beyond its control or if the booking may prejudice the reputation or cause damage to the hotel. In such an event all deposits and payments will be refunded in full but with no further liability.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that they have adequate insurance against cancellation due to ill health or unforeseen circumstance.
SMOKING
A smoking ban was introduced to Scotland on Sunday 26th March 2006, this hotel is a totally non-smoking building. It is illegal to smoke or to knowingly let someone else smoke on these premises. Failure to comply with this law will result in charges.
MISCELLANEOUS
We reserve the right to alter the hotel charges and policy – however a minimum of 6 months notice will be given.
Any loss or damage to hotel property will be charged in full. The hotel reserves the right to automatically deduct the required amount from the card and send a written receipt.
Any guest who causes distress, damage, danger or annoy other residents, members of their party, employees, property or anyone else will be asked to leave the premises with no refunds.
The hotel has a strict policy of no night guests. The amount of people the room is booked for is the number who maybe permitted onto the premises. Any guests who try to take extra guests to their room will be asked to leave the premises with no refunds.
Paying a deposit accepts these terms and conditions
